Part three of the STAGE FRIGHTS series featuring UNBURIED by John Bavoso.
In this episode, Doctor Necropolis and the hosts of Gather by the Ghost Light (Jonathan and Devon) continue to have the sacrificial candidates perform audio plays to see who will be chosen to be sacrificed. Four actors perform the play UNBURIED. On a dark and stormy Halloween night, two characters-victims of the "bury your gays" trope, both-have come to life and are out for bloody revenge on their author/father. But the unexpected arrival of a fourth character leads to events none of them could have planned.

Playwright
John Bavoso (he/him/his) is a Washington, DC-based playwright, marketer, and aspiring wrangler of unicorns. He mostly writes plays about women and queer people who are awkwardly attempting (and generally failing) to engage with serious subject matter using only dry wit and impeccably timed combative taunts. John is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, a 2019 Lambda Literary Fellow, and the recipient of District of Columbia FY18 and FY19 Arts and Humanities Fellowships.
