Joanne Greene is a published playwright with a bachelor’s degree in music & voice performance from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She also has a Master’s Degree from the University of Georgia in Screenwriting. She sang with the Atlanta and New Orleans Opera Company and served as an artist-in-residence in Georgia before beginning her career as a teacher of theatre and music in that state. She grew up performing with the Augusta Players in plays and musicals and as an adult she became the Musical Director for the Augusta Players and the Director of the Augusta Players Youth Theater for several seasons.
