Launched in 2020, Gather by the Ghost Light is a part of the Broadway Podcast Network and has produced over 90 audio play productions written by playwrights from around the world and has had over 50 writers and voice actors as guests on the show. Hosts Jonathan Cook and Devon McSherry speak with writers and actors to learn more about their process for crafting scripts and performance for the stage, screen, and the audio fiction world.

Jonathan Cook (creator of Gather by the Ghost Light) is heavily involved in the fine arts as an actor, writer, and filmmaker. He is a seven-time recipient of the Porter Fleming Literary Award in the playwriting category and his works have been produced worldwide and published by Smith & Kraus, Black Bed Sheet Books, and Ghost Light Publications. He is also the creator of the Gather by the Ghost Light podcast.

Devon McSherry (co-host of Gather by the Ghost Light) has been involved in the arts for as long as she can remember. Music and theater was what brought her parents together and shaped her love of the arts. So much so that she went to college for musical theater and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Wherever she went, Devon continued to perform and began writing plays and short films along the way. She currently teaches Musical Theatre at the Musical Theatre Workshop in Augusta, GA.
